Dear Experts ,
I am new to android player's and was luck enough to be gifted one Neo X6.I am facing two issues
1. Google Playstore is not working properly .
When i execute it it just opens and closes quickly not allowing me to install any of the apps that playstore provides .
2. Need help on reading files from Hard Disk also.

I've got a minix X6 and for some reason when i power up the box the blue light just flashes on and off.

i don't get any boot logo or nothing will start up.

When i try to flash the box the i just get a flashing green light.

Sometimes i just get a constant green light....

Any help from minix....

Hi all,

i have two questions:
1/ how can I do a factory reset. When I try to restore to factory settings through the android settings - the box stuck on a boot screen (the one with green logo).

2/ I'm using Kodi 16.1 Jarvis (and XBMC Launcher) on my box, and it often restarting when I'm moving through the menu.

Hi all,

I"m new to the android scene, I have a new Neo X6 since yesterday. Now the WiFi wont connect, i see all of my WiFi connections but if i want to connect with them after putting the code in the X6 he wants to connect.

"connecting" appears on the screen but further nothing happens. I tryed with all 4 possible connections showing up on my screen. The signal is very strong on all 4 of them so that couldnt be the problem.

hi everyone, is there any way to set a scheduled auto restart/reboot to Minix X6? I've tried a few android reboot apps but it didn't work as it required the device to be rooted...

Hi

I use two Minix X6 devices for showing slideshows and movies that are played continuously.
In the SettingsMbox app you can define if a screensaver should be shown.

For me it's set to 'Never'.
Yet, after a while (might be more than 1 day, sometimes sooner, sometimes later.) the screensaver does show!
On top of that: it's with a stupid kitten and other ugly pictures you can't change.

But I don't think it's normal that a screensaver is shown, while you set it up so it won't show.

I have been unsuccessfully been trying to save YuoTube videos to the card. Went to their offline menu to set SD card as download default, but it is not there. Checked that the card is mounted and that is on. Can anyone help with this?

Hi, i accidentally factory reset my device and i lost all my apps in it. Is there a method to restore back those which is suppose to be there? Hot Movies, Popcorn time, show box, Sky HD, CloudTv and etc. Please i need help guys

Hello. I have an minix neo x6, mu problem is, this box randomly slows performance, and auto exit games.
Ex: installed soccer star by miniclip, make my login and bump, the game exit do the minix menu. Its hapen at 90% of games i have instaled. I have root and the rom 4.4.2 ofw 008.
Anyone have a solution to fix this problem? Any config or custom rom?

Hi

I recently attempted to update my Neo X6. evrything seemed to be working well until i switched it off .
Since then , when i try to switch it on the blue light goes on then immediately goes green, with no display on the screen. It does not go into recovery mode because as soon as i switch it on it seems to go straight into standby mode. Anyone have any advice on how to get this working again ?

Hi, i have problem with bluetooth pairing with nexux 5x.
My minix x6 and google 5x mobile are paired without problem but they cannot connect.
I want to use my phone as remote, but i failed to connect any remote app (google tv remote, rk remote) over bluettooth or wifi.
My phone and x6 are on the same wifi network, google tv remote option is enabled on minix and remote control option as well.

any suggestions.

Recently tried to update Kodi using kodi-17.0-Krypton_beta1-armeabi-v7a.apk - but Minix/Android responded with "parsing error" Tried to update Kodi using the Android Update ap. After downloading the beta1 it too responded with the same error. Also downloaded the Minix-xbmc 16.3 package and it would not install. It gave the same error.

Any ideas on what may be the cause? My stock standard Minix Android is set to allow installation from outside sources.

NB Currently using Kodi 16.1 Jarvis on...

Hi everyone. I have an X6 and I think the included remote is of poor quality and too basic. I got a learning remote and set it up to control both the TV and Minix box. Now I'd like to assign some buttons to Minix, mainly pause/ ffw/ rew and stop to use in XBMC. My remote does not have USB connection, but my phone has an IR blaster, so if I can get those to work on a phone app, I can have the remote learn the commands from the phone. PS: I don't want a Wifi remote app. Thanks

I previously owned a Mygica ATV585 device. I used it to watch Netflix, Hulu, videos from network drive and occasionally Kodi. It got struck by lightning and I needed to replace it. I never had any real issues with the Mygica apart from intermittent small audio skips now and them. I didn't know if this was only my device or a problem with the software. Hi. I have a minix neo x6. I reinstalled the earliest firmware for this android box because i had issues with an app. It is the app NOS TV from my ISP provider NOS from Portugal. I have a pack with tv, landline phone, mobile phone and internet.

Hi guys,
Having a problem that is currently melting my brain! I bought my sister an X6 which was working fine, then i connected it to my 42 inch Philips LCD TV. Heres the problem,
-With the TV connected to satellite set top box or anything else via HDMI I have no issue.
-With Minix connected to any other TV via HDMI I have no issue.
-When I connect the Minix to the Philips TV I get random flashes of the screen to black, kind of like the TV is trying to change format or something. Happens mostly...
